• Sixth Formers have work experience placements in
  the Junior School
• Year 6 have activities in the Senior School with
  Senior School Specialist Staff

• Autumn visit to Devon bonding for children new
  to Year 6
• Dialogue with Senior School staff
• Careful consultation about the groupings in Year
  7 and transfer of information
• Individual needs support from SEN coaches
• Transfer Days for the pupils
• Social events for parents

The Key Stage 3 Curriculum
Many lessons in Years 7 and 8 are taught in
Company/Registration or other mixed ability
groups. In Maths, classes are set according to
ability after the Autumn half term holiday.
Science is set according to ability in Year 9.
Some other subjects introduce setting
arrangements in later years.
