Letters of Recommendation

• Only a few schools require letters of
  recommendation. For Common Application,
  counselors will complete a recommendation page.
• Teacher recommendation requests will be made
  electronically, but follow up all requests in
  person. Allow up to 2 weeks.
• Provide a completed Student Information Sheet or
  resume.
• Consider who knows you the best when asking
  teachers.

NCAA Clearinghouse

• Register at www.ncaa.clearinghouse.net.
• Transcripts will be sent via Parchment.
• You are responsible to manage your NCAA
  Eligibility.

Reminders

• Attend College Night October 2, 2013 at
  Schoolcraft Community College.
• Meet with colleges universities in the Career
  Center the month of October.
• Apply by October 31st to colleges universities,
  choose 3-5.
• FAFSA, file for federal assistance by the end of
  February.
• Enjoy, remember schools check final transcripts
  so study, study, study!
