- The mission of AVID is to ensure that ALL
students, and most especially the least served
students who are in the middle - will succeed in rigorous curriculum,
- will complete a rigorous college preparatory
path, - will enter mainstream activities of the school,
- will increase their enrollment in four-year
colleges, - will become educated and responsible participants
and leaders in a democratic society.

- The mission of the OVHS Business Academy is to
educate a unique and diverse student population
by providing a challenging program with a
business focus, opportunities for business and
community involvement, and lifelong learning.

interested in working hard in high school and
preparing for their future in college and the
workplace. The Business Academy also offers
students a family atmosphere that helps them
grow academically and socially.

OVHS - 97.6 graduation rate among seniors for the last
7 years - Over 95 of our graduates go directly to college
