- Education majors were invited to convene at the
library to play the role of private investigators
solving famous assassinations. - Library staff and faculty members prepared the
scene and served as judges and support staff.
3C I faculty members and the VPAA prepared to
judge the clues. Each judge had a folder with
answer keys and a stack of tasks for each
investigative team.
4Each team started with two envelopes. The first
identified their victim and the second outlined
the requirements of the e-mailed police report.
5Student workers helped with the Murder. This
student printed the police reports for each team
to submit to the judges.
6Investigative teams scurried up and down stairs.
This team was looking for print materials on the
assassination of Julius Caesar.
7This team located latitude and longitude
information as they prepared an expense report
for investigating the assassination of Cesare
Borgia in Viana, Spain.
8These students download (re-enacted) photographic
evidence of their crime.
9Rasputin's death scene Warning (non) graphic

10Library staff members assist teams as they locate
full text articles on appropriate investigative
techniques in First Search.
11The judges table gets busy toward the end. The
digital clock was ticking!
12The winners! Refreshments and prizes were
enjoyed by all after the event.
