2design
- The pipe is custom-designed, for the pressure and
installation conditions along the longitudinal
section of the pipeline. - The structural condition of rigid pipe simplifies
the trenches filling, allowing easy to achieve
filling materials. - The design is adapted to the compacting factor
decided by the designer.
3Rating
The reinforcement of every stretch is adapted to
its conditions. That reduces the cost and
improves the coefficient of sustainability.

5Rigid pipe
- The design can be adjusted to the desired
bedding and compacting factor. - The filling material is not very demanding. The
material from the excavation can be used as
filling, except for special cases.

- The concrete passivates the reinforcements and
provides an efficient protection of the steel in

Standards - Updated in 2007 by the IETCC and CEDEX is one of
the most modern and complete - It meets all the conditions of the European
standard and exceeds its requirements in some
points - The current manufacturing allows to meet and even
exceed widely the requirements of the standards
in some points
19STANDARDIZATION
- AFTHAP pipes have the DIT seal certified by the
IETCC - The DIT seal ranks with an EN seal, is applied
when there is not product UNE standard, even
though is more complete (includes use control in
addition to manufacturing control) - The documentation of the DIT is public, and can
be consulted on our web www.afthap.com
