• At Spring Hill Middle School we ensure high
  levels of learning for all students.

No Zero Program

• Homework and practice are essential to student
  learning.
• Not completing homework is a common factor among
  students that are not learning.
• Parents are willing to support their child in the
  completion of homework.

• Office calls parent
• By 300 the next day is 15 penalty
• After 300 on the day after the due date results
  in a zero

• Purpose is to keep you informed when your child
  needs additional support
• Reward party at end of each quarter for students
  with no more than three late slips and no zeros

Tiger Den

• Thirty minutes of intervention or enrichment
  each day.
• Students may choose to get extra help.
• Students may be required to get extra help.
• Students may go to the library, participate in
  enrichment activities, or work on homework.

How You Can Help

• READ to your child
• Express interest in your childs school day and
  assignments
• READ with your child
• Set a routine that includes homework time, a
  good nights sleep, and a healthy breakfast
• READ while your child is watching
