- Each student will have a 3-ring binder in which
they will keep their planner, homework, teacher
notes, daily mail, and parent notes. - Students are responsible for having your MAGIC
planner signed nightly so parents can look over
mail, monitor your reading log, and
check homework.

- Students should dress comfortably and wear
walking shoes. Shorts with pockets are
recommended. - Students should bring a lunch in a disposable
gallon Ziploc bag. - Souvenir money is the responsibility of the
student and limited to 15.00. - Students should be on their best behavior to
represent Windy Ridge Elementary with pride. - The chartered buses will leave school at 730 am
and will return to school at 600 pm.

- Students are required to read for a minimum of 20
minutes per night. - Students need to complete the daily reading
response questions based on their chapter book. - Please review your childs responses to ensure
they have answered the appropriate questions.

19MONTHLY GENRE BOOK REPORT
- Different genre each month
- Due at the end of each month
- Counts towards your reading grade
- Must be hand-written
- Most are presented orally (practice at home
beforehand)
