Snacks
  • We have a late lunch, so students can bring a
    snack to eat during Marathon Club.
  • Please make sure that it is individually wrapped
    and something that they can easily eat while
    walking laps.

    following recipe instructions during our writing
    block.

Birthdays
  • You are more than welcome to come eat lunch with
    your child on his/her birthday! If you cant
    make it and would like to send in a treat, please
    make sure that it is precut. We have 20 students
    in our class.

Homework
  • Homework packet sent home on Mondays in folder
  • Includes spelling, math, and 20 minutes of
    reading each night
  • Packet should be returned on Fridays in folder

  • Report Cards each quarter
  • Interim Progress Reports (mid-quarter)
  • A 100 - 93 (excellent work)
  • B 92 - 85 (very good work)
  • C 84 - 77 (average work)
  • D 76 - 70 (poor work)
  • U 69 61 (unsatisfactory work)

Grading
  • Points will be taken off grades for missing
    capitals (-1 point), incorrect or no punctuation
    (-1 point), and misspelled words/Word Wall Words
    (-1 point). Half credit will be granted for
    incomplete sentences. This is a curriculum-wide
    policy.
