  • He was born on 12/15 37 A.D. in a small Italian
    seaside town of Antium.
  • Neros Mother was Agrippina the Younger
  • He had two tutors, Burro and Seneca
  • His father was Gnaeus Domitus Aheno.

  • His father died when he was three.
  • Neros mother married her uncle, the emperor of
    Rome and then had him and his son killed so Nero,
    her son Britannicus killed would become future
    emperor.
  • He was great-great-grandson to the emperor
    Augustus

  • Was emperor of Rome
  • Was emperor for 14 years. 54-68 AD
  • Good emperor for first 5 years
  • Became a bad emperor toward end of his life

  • Nero developed a bad reputation because he was
    accused of starting the Great Fire and many other
    things.
  • He is known as a very evil man, but if you look
    at overall what he did for Rome he was not so bad
    of an emperor.

  • Nero would not let anything get in his way of
    building his golden house
  • Nero was also determined not to let himself get
    blamed for anything so he did so he blamed the
    Christians.

End of Life
  • Nero died in 68 AD
  • Nero committed suicide because while he was
    away in Greece revolts began. When Nero returned,
    the senate had agreed to let Nero die a slaves
    life. Nero was determined not to die this way so
    he stabbed himself in the throat.
