  • Vocative
  • The fifth and final case is the vocative.
  • It is the case of direct address
  • The forms of the vocative are simple
  • In the plural, the vocative is identical to the
    Nominative plural
  • In 1st declension singular nouns, the vocative is
    the same as the nominative
  • In 2nd declension, the vocative ending is usually
    epsilon
  • In 3rd declension, the vocative is usually the
    bare stem of the word.
