• This was the Final Stage of the French Revolution

• People lost faith in the Government because it
  was corrupt and their needs were not being met
• Napoleon stages a Coup detat a military
  overthrow of the government

  Plebiscite (A vote by the people which justified
  Napoleons rule over France

• Napoleon orders a Blockade of Britain to prevent
  all trade and communication between Britain and
  other European Nations
• 1. Wanted to destroy Britains commercial and
  Industrial trade
• 2. Blockade did not work
• 3. System hurt France and weakened the
  economy of Europe

• Nationalist Portuguese and Spaniards rebelled
  against Napoleon (with Assistance from Britain)
