Progress Report

• Policy Development
• Gender Policy Guidelines for the Public Health
  Sector finalized and launched in November 2002.
• Advocacy Awareness raising on policy policy
  presented in 6 provinces (i.e., Limpopo, N. Cape,
  Free State, KZN, N.West and Mpumalanga) to senior
  management. Entry into Gauteng, Limpopo, W. Cape
  and E. Cape difficult.

• National Four clusters and one directorate
  trained
• Limpopo Province /- 36 Middle Managers trained
• All nine provinces 15 senior and middle managers
  trained on Gender and Health aspects.
