Styles of Leadership

• There are 3 main styles of leadership that you
  need to be aware of, they are
• Authoritarian
• Laissez Faire
• Democratic

Authoritarian

• Leader does not involve participants in decision
  making.
• The outcome is task-orientated as opposed to
  team-orientated.

Democratic

• The leader does involve others in the decision
  making process.
• The leader is interested in the team members and
  developing personal relationships.

Laissez-faire

• The leader is more of a consultant than a
  decision maker.
• The participants will use their initiative to
  decide on what they are going to do.
