The Swiss return assistance system

Information important counseling instrument

• to provide up-to-date information from a neutral
  authority (IOM)
• to allow a constructive dialogue between the
  returnee and the counselor
• to counteract the returnees uncertainty and to
  provide a future perspective
• to reach a bigger credibility of return
  assistance (a confidence building measure)

Example 1- Nigeria opening a shoe shop in Lagos

• Is it difficult to find appropriate premises in
  Lagos at the moment? How much is the rent?The
  Lagos State government is currently carrying out
  a demolition exercise in certain localities where
  illegal structures are located. It is usually
  better to find shops in established market
  places, shopping or trade fair complexes and not
  shops built on the side of the streets.
• Renting costs (10-14m2) 200-330 downtown,
  170-230 outskirts. Payment in advance 1 to 2
  years.

Example 2- KosovoHematologist/Specialist for
blood diseases
Is the medicine LITALIR (active agent
Hydroxycarbamidum 500mg) available in Kosovo and
how much does it cost? Please indicate the number
of capsules per package.According to the
pharmacist Mr. B from the private pharmacy
Barnatorja e Trete Popullore, the mentioned
medicament is not available in private
pharmacies. However, it is available in the
clinic of hematology of the UCC in Pristina. The
price is 50 per package of 100 capsules.
