  directions, and formal policies and procedures of
  the SpaceOps Organization

• Scope To focus on the publications and
  dissemination of information of the SpaceOps
  Organization

• Conference Program Group
• Scope To oversee the organization of the
  SpaceOps biennial conference and to
  evaluate/develop opportunities for partnership
  with groups such as the SOSTC and RCSGSO.
  Subcommittee members will include representatives
  from the host agency of the next conference and
  focus on conference organization tasks to include
  logistics, technical program development,
  marketing and promotion of the conference. Other
  members can include representatives from the host
  agency of the past symposia in an advisory role.

• Communication Outreach Group
• Scope To coordinate the communications and
  outreach of the SpaceOps Organization into the
  space operations community. The subcommittee will
  be responsible for the SpaceOps web site and
  marketing and promotional activities for the
  overall organization. This subcommittee will also
  focus on the external relations of the SpaceOps
  Organization with other organizations and space
  agencies.

• Awards Group
• Scope To oversee and manage the awards of the
  SpaceOps Organization. The subcommittee will be
  responsible for the development of the awards
  nomination process, the promotion of the awards
  and their processes, and coordinate the review
  and determination of the recipients.

Role of Secretariat

• Secretarial Functions
• Coordinate meetings of the Executive Committee
  and Committee-at-Large (date, venue at member
  facilities, logistics, teleconference
  capabilities) with local Space Agency hosts
• Attend meetings of the Executive Committee and
  Committee-at-Large and take, circulate, review,
  and publish minutes
• Follow up on action items
• Maintain and update list of Executive Committee
  and Committee-at-Large
• Transfer database from one conference to the next
  conference

• Treasurer Functions
• Administer tasks within a sound fiduciary plan
• Act as Treasurer for the SpaceOps Organization,
  including collection of registration fees for
  conferences and dues (if applicable), exhibition
  fees, and sponsorship contributions
• Remit payments for vendor services as appropriate
  (i.e., web site maintenance, secretarial
  expenses, planning activities between
  conferences)
• Provide yearly financial status and information
  to SpaceOps Executive Committee for review

• Maintain SpaceOps web site
• Develop and maintain specific conference sections
  of the SpaceOps web site
• Promote SpaceOps activities in between
  conferences

• Help identify linkages and synergies with AIAA
  core competencies and to maximize benefits with
  that association
• Integrate and leverage activities with AIAA and
  other organizations as appropriate
• Help meet overarching strategic goals and
  objectives to further the mission of the SpaceOps
  organization
