Times have gone by when selling growth, year
after year, reached several hundred per cent.
Today, with pleasure we note only 10 growth
measured with the number of sold rooms. In 2005
we sold 170 380 rooms and in 2006 - 183
471. Hotel reservation via internet became a
common action, and not only the domain of foreign
guests, who mainly visited our country between
April and October.

 Thanks to the OdkryjPolske.pl and affiliated
systems in 2006 291 123 persons benefited from
the lodgings, 70 of them was Poles traveling
through Poland.

The second significant function we make
accessible to our hotel partners is the
possibility of monitoring the availability of
hotel services in a city. Thanks to the internet,
the accessibility of hotel services and the
possibility of their on-line reservation
increased in a short time.

From this year on all hotels also have the
preview of the accessibility of services in the
city. This function allows to see on which days
the occupancy in a hotel increases. Using this
knowledge, a hotel can raise the price when other
hotels close the sale, and lower the price when
there is no demand on services.

The logistic service of this kind of sale can be
compared to the work of a 500 room hotel with
100 daily occupancy, which daily issues over 500
invoices and pays over 500 invoices to their
suppliers. Invoices to Polish Travel Quo Vadis
Ltd. were brought by car. The payment service and
the invoicing became a suppression to the
internet sale development. Instead of spending
time on improving client service, our employees
would deal with reporting the sold services.
This was the reason for creating the electronic
system of dealing with sold services. In 2006 we
started to use it in co-operation with our
biggest partners. This was not visible on the
presentation page of OdkryjPolske.pl but hotels
felt the difference. We have eliminated revising
invoices almost completely, total amount of
invoices decreased by about 70 and Polish Travel
Quo Vadis has the possibility of immediate
payment for services to hotels. Building the
electronic office of reservation system service
opened the way to e-business, which means work
without papers.

Looking at the statistics of room sale in the
past 3 years it is hard to find hotels in small
cities or SPA hotels located in picturesque
places but hardly known even to Polish
tourists. That is the reason why we implement a
SPA portal on the market. It is the first from
the brand new internet products which helps SPA
hotels get to the client and makes it possible
for clients of SPA hotels simply to find the
exact hotel.
