2YA National Objectives
- For all young people who participate to
- Pursue approved vocational qualifications at
level 2(on average 2 days a week in a variety of
learning settings) - Have an appropriate and extended experience of
work with an employer (50 days) - Have the extended experience of work contribute
directly to the coursework of the qualification - Prepare for and be offered clear progression
routes

- An average of 2 days per week spent in a
variety of learning settings of which includes - Studying for a level 2 outcome
- 50 days work experience over 2 years
- Collaborative delivery through Partnership
arrangement - Parental / guardian support for participation
- Robust eligibility and selection
- Incorporating enterprise and enrichment
opportunities - Resulting in a YA Completion Certificate
- Meets the statutory curriculum is delivered as
far as possible within the school timetable
