• Solve environmental and working condition
  problems with pro active solutions in
  industry/companies in the Baltic countries,
  Poland and in nortwest Russia
• To create new business opportunities for Swedish

Affärsnytta

• 120 million SEK in already signed contracts
• 250 million SEK is expected within two years
• And joint ventures, etc (ca 25 million SEK)
• 70 of the companies have increased networking
• 70 of the companies have raised their
  competence about the markets and how to make
  business in the region
• 80 of the companies intend to continue making
  business in the region
• 70 of the companies are interested in markets
  further east

• 44 of the companies consider that the projects
  resulted in an environmental or work condition
  improvement (as increased competence, improved
  production, environmental management systems,
  safer work

• Several tools as a result (handbooks, brochures,
  web pages)

• Well motivated and committed companies in Sweden
• Good contacts in the partner countries
• Well working comunication, knowledge of language
• Good knowledge of the partner countries
• The need/demand of the market

Nuteks handläggning

• Nuteks hantering får mycket gott betyg
• Hög grad av dialog vid ansökan och under
  projekten. Dialogen har främst påverkat
  projektmål och -strategier
• Kontakter med Nutek har ökat projektens nätverk
• Rimliga administrativa krav
• Bättre samordning önskas (mellan projekt för
  att förenkla för företagen och mellan
  finansiärer)

• Samtliga projektledare telefonintervjuades
• 64 företag telefonintervjuades (svarsfrekvens
  76)
• 70 företag besvarade webbenkät (svarsfrekvens
  40)
• Undervärdering av resultat pga bortfall av
  respondenter och att vissa ej uppgav kvantitativa
  data.
