• Potiphars wife lied about him
• She told the servants Joseph tried to lie with
  her and claimed he fled when she cried out
• She said he left his coat beside her
• She repeated the lie to Potiphar
• Potiphar cast Joseph into prison
• God protected Joseph
• As he will all his faithful 1 Corinthians 1013
• He was placed in a prison for the kings prisoners

God Protected Joseph in Prison

• Genesis 401-23
• God caused the keeper to look favorably on Joseph
  and he was given authority
• Pharaohs chief butler and baker were put in
  prison
• Each had a dream which Joseph interpretted
• The butler would be restored in 3 days
• The baker would die in 3 days
• The butler promised to remember Joseph to Pharaoh
• Joseph remained in prison though the butler was
  restored to his position
