wartime experiences when she returns to Oxford
after the war. ? Goal is to tell history in
terms of personal life. ? Testament of Youth, is
first published in 1933 and is today acclaimed
as Veras best work. ? As an adult, Vera becomes
known as an outspoken feminist and pacifist.
