The Library is a Shared Space
  • Students from other classes may be sent down to
    take makeup tests
  • Students may drop in (with a pass) to check out
    books, pay fines, etc.
  • Plus, regularly scheduled classes are present
    throughout the school day

Printing
  • Students are allowed to print up to 3 pages free
    per day if pages are school related (unless
    permission for more has been granted by one or
    both of the librarians) . Students may request
    to print personal pages, costing .10 per page.

Check Out Procedures
  • All books can be checked out except for Reference
    books - bring them up to the Circulation Desk
  • The librarian(s) will ask you for your last name
    (please speak clearly)
  • Check out period for all items is 2 weeks

Check Out Procedures Continued
  • Overdue fines are .10 per day per item
  • There is no limit on the number of books you may
    check out (be reasonable)
  • You may renew books every two weeks
  • No check outs are allowed when a student owes a
    fine and/or still has out overdue items

Morning Procedures (700am-725am)
  • Email and Internet games may be read and played
    during this time
  • Check out/Return books
  • Do homework
  • Study for tests
  • Work on group projects
  • Read books and/or periodicals

Afternoon Procedures (230pm-330pm)
  • Email and Internet games may be read and played
    during this time
  • Check out/Return books
  • Do homework
  • Study for tests
  • Work on group projects
  • Read books and/or periodicals

Catalog Computers
  • All of the 32 student computers have access to
    our librarys holdings/collection

Internet Computers
  • These machines are for everyones use so please
    treat them with care
  • PERSONAL WEB SITES AND CHAT ROOMS ARE STRICTLY
    PROHIBITED - Any student seen accessing MYSPACE,
    FACEBOOK, etc. will be sent immediately to the
    principal

Use of Passes

Plus Time Passes(A D Lunches)
  • You may only sign up for a Plus Time Pass every
    other day before 1st period on Tuesday,
    Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • No student will be admitted into the library
    during regular Plus Time(s) without an approved
    Plus Time Pass.

Planner Passes(Used with Teacher Permission)
  • These passes are used for student needs such as
    returning/checking out books, paying fines, etc.
    They cannot be used during Plus Time. Remember
    to ALWAYS sign IN or OUT at the Circulation Desk.
