Buckingham Palace is like a small town with a
police station, two post offices, a hospital, a
bar, two sports clubs, a disco, a cinema and a
swimming pool. There are 600 rooms and 3 miles of
red carpet. About 700 people work in the Palace.
8Tower of London and Tower Bridge
There are Royal residence, the prison and Crown
Jewels in Tower of London. Tower Bridge was built
by Sir John Wolfe Barry in 1894. It has got a
machinery for the lifting.

The Clock Tower is better know as Big Ben. The
bell was named after Sir Beniamin Hall, the first
commissioner of works.

Westminster Abbey is a large, Gothic church. It

English monarchs.
St. Paul's Cathedral was built by Sir Christopher
Wren in 17th century.
