  tribes that you may know each other, not that you

Wife of Prophet Noah and Lot

• God has made up a parable for those who
  disbelieve Noahs wife and Lots wife were both
  married to two of Our honorable servants, yet
  they betrayed them both.6610

Pharaohs Wife

• God has (also) made up a parable for those who
  believe, concerning Pharaohs wife when she said
  My Lord, build a house for me in the Garden
  alongside You, and save me from Pharaoh and his
  actions. Save me from such wrongdoing folk!

Mother of Moses

• And we inspired the mother of Moses, saying
  Suckle him and, when you fear for him, then cast
  him into the river and do not fear nor grieve.
  Lo! We shall bring him back to you and shall make
  him (one) of Our messengers. 287

Mary the Mother of Jesus

• Mary withdrew from her family to an eastern
  place. She took a screen from them. And We sent
  our Spirit to her, and it took the shape of a
  well-proportioned human. She said I take refuge
  with the Compassionate from you. Go away if you
  fear God. He said I am only your Lords
  messenger, to give you a pure boy.

Mary

• She said How could I have a boy when no human
  has touched me and I am not a whore? He said
  Thus. Your Lord says It is easy for Me, and so
  that We make him a sign for the people and a
  mercy from Us. So she was pregnant with him, and
  she retired with him to a remote place. 1916-23

INHERITANCE

• From what is left by parents and those nearest
  related, there is a share for women, whether the
  property be small or large- determinate share.

ENGLISH COMMON LAW

• All real property, which a wife held at the
  time of a marriage, became a possession of her
  husband. He was entitled to the rent from the
  land and to any profit, which might be made from
  operating the estate during the joint life of the
  spouses. (Enc. Americana vol.29, p.108.)

JUDGEMENT DAY

• When the sun has been extinguished,
• When the stars slip out of place,
• When the ten-month pregnant camels are neglected,
• When wild beasts are herded together,
• When the seas overflow,

• When souls are reunited
• When the buried girl asked
• For what offence she has been killed,
• Each soul shall know
• What it has prepared!

PROPHET MUHAMMAD

• Whosoever has a daughter and he does not bury
  her alive, does not insult her, and does not
  favor his son over her God will enter him into
  Paradise.

O people I have forbidden oppression for my
self and forbidding it for you, do not oppress
one another.

• Believers, male and female, are protectors of
  one another they enjoin what is just and forbid
  what is evil. (971)

• Seeking knowledge is a duty on every Muslim man
  and woman.

• Seeking knowledge for one hour is better than
  praying for seventy years.

• Either we live as immoral animals and ascribe
  our immorality to the commands of God, or we seek
  to purify our intellects and hearts to elevate
  ourselves to Gods beautiful and majestic way.

• For Muslim men and women, for believing men and
  women, for devout men and women, the men and
  women who are truthful, the men and women who are
  patient, the men and women who are humble, the
  men and women who give charity, the men and women
  who fast, the men and women who guard their
  chastity, and men and women who remember God much
  with their hearts and tongues God prepared for
  them forgiveness and a great reward (3335).

• O Messenger of God, who among the people is the
  most worthy of my good company and kindness? The
  Prophet said your mother. The man said then who
  is next The Prophet said your mother. The man
  asked again who is next? The Prophet said your
  mother. The man asked again who is next? Only
  then did the Prophet say your father!

• Fear God in respect of women The most perfect
  believers are the best in conduct and best of you
  are those who are best to their wives.
