  gossip about the conflict?

  speak disparagingly about those involved in the

  manipulate the facts of the conflict?

  diminish those who do not agree with me and must

Do No HarmA Step Not Often Taken

• 1) It demands too much in the way of
  self-discipline.
• It also demands a very deep faith that God will
  empower and lead the faithful.
• When have I neglected the self-discipline or
  deep faith?
• When have we?
• 2) We have bound ourselves to certain ideology or
  theology
• rather than binding ourselves to Jesus, the
  Christ, Savior and Lord of all.
• When have I made my ideology/theology the
  unifier instead of Jesus Christ?
• When have we?
• 3) We are afraid of its consequences. 
• We are afraid of giving up political power for
  the power of God's love.
• When have I been motivated by loss/gain,
  threat/promise of political power? When have we?
