• The four main ideas that were involved with the
  Mexican Revolution were Agrarian Reform, Economic
  Nationalism, Church-State Relations, and
  Political Reform.
• This proves that Michael Gonzalez was an
  stucturalist, believing that events changed
  history.
• Rebellious Mexicans frequently linked economic
  security with the ideology of self-determination,
  and the desire to control local government
  motivated many to take up arms.
• Subordinating the church and the state, however,
  required political stabilization and political
  courage.

• Michael Gonzalez was a (liberal) stucturalist
  historian believing that events, not people
  changed the history of the Revolution
• He did agree with what he is saying but he bases
  most of his ideas off of facts.
• In 1910, Mexicans rebelled, above all to get
  land
• This shows that he does have a slight input but
  this was seen the same way by multiple
  historians.
