FAVORABLE CONTEXT FOR PROJECTS IMPLEMENTATION
Romania is since 2007 a EU member and due to this
is beneficiary of important structural founds
13 billion euro Brasov City and its surrounding
area (metropolitan area) has been declared the
only growth pole from the Central Region of
Romania by Romanian Government Decision,
respecting the Romanian territorial cohesion
policy For this area has been elaborated an Urban
Development Integrated Plan (UDIP), based on
sustainable development principles The total
amount distributed to Brasov Growth Pole through
the First Axe of the Regional Operational
Program, for UDIP priority projects
implementation is estimated to 70 million
euro Founds are also accessible through
Environmental Program, Rural Development National
Program, Economic Competitiveness Program
