  outdoor teak furniture, there is a major

• Cleaning Grey exclusion
• If the teak furniture has turned grey, before
  adding some form of finish, it must be washed. It
  will be easy to disinfect with a combination of
  water and TSP if your teak furniture has turned
  gray (trisodium phosphate). Using a Scotchbrite
  pad or Synthetic Steel Cloth Wool to add this
  combination (Never use real steel wool, because
  little pieces of steel will rust in the grain of
  the wood). Wet the teak and spray with the TSP

  mixture a few minutes to function. Scrub gently
  in the direction of the wood when the wood is
  already damp. Before you begin to shield the area
  from cleaners, make sure that the surrounding

• Cleaning Varnish or oil removal
• If the original varnish, oil or paint is
  discolored, it must be cleaned by peeling or
  chipping until a fresh finish is added. Sanding
  with 60-80 grit sandpaper or the use of a
  chemical stripper may extract varnish, oil and
  paint. The chemical strippers are built to crack
  down coatings that have already been varnished or
  oiled. Using a throwaway brush or spray on the
  top of the wood to spread the stripper. Enable
  the stripper to rest for 5 to 10 minutes on the
  surface of the wood before scraping. To see if
  the end is ready for removal, measure a small
  field. Then scrape off a loosened finish by
  operating softly with a scraping instrument or
  synthetic steel wool in the direction of wood
  grain. Wipe the sludge off and let it rinse with
  a rough rag. If there are any minor patches of
  varnish or grease, gently sand the wood to clear

• Oil from Teak
• For indoor wood, teak oil is excellent, but it
  does not have the power to keep up with the harsh
  outdoor climate. Many people who use teak oil
  notice that after two months they re-oil
  themselves. It is also recognized that teak oil
  absorbs fungi and mold. Every few months, teak
  oil can disappear easily with the daily chore of
  oiling out. It would need to be completely
  stripped and refinished until teak oil has
  darkened and turned gray. For teak furniture,

  add teak oil. Wipe off some drips quickly or run
