  • Pressure, under normal circumstances, decreases
    with altitude.
  • Temperature affects pressure.
  • Air temperature decreases with altitude.
  • Pressure is affected by Temperature.
  • Pressure will be lowest at 1000 feet and highest
    at ground level.

Hypothesis/ Tests
  • Hypothesis- Our hypothesis is that the pressure
    will decrease as altitude increases.
  • Tests- We have done a similar experiment in class
    using the appropriate equipment. Because of this
    we know what kind of results to expect. The
    pressure will steadily fall as the gondola rises
    and increase as the gondola descends.
