Colonies in Africa Tanzania Tanzania was on the
east coast of Africa. The capitol of Tanzania is
Dar es Salaam. It borders the Indian Ocean. It
also borders Kenya and Mozambique.
Cameroon Yaouande is the capitol of Cameroon. It
is located on the west coast of Africa. It is
bordering the Bight of Biafra.
Namibia The capitol is Windhoek. Namibia is
located on the west coast of Africa. It is
located between South Africa and Angola. It is
located in the south of Africa.
Colonies in Asia Afghanistan Afghanistan is l
ocated in Southern Asia. The capitol is Kabul.
North and west of Pakistan and east of Iran. It
is sorrounded only by land. Siam The capitol of
Siam is Rangoon. It is located in southern
eastern Asia bordering the Andaman Sea and the
Bay of Bengal, and between Bangladesh in
Thailand. China The capitol of China is Beijing
. China is located in Eastern Asia bordering the
East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea, and South
China Sea between North Korea and Vietnam
Philippines The capitol of the Philippines is
Manila. It is located in South Eastern Asia
archipelago between the Philippine Sea and the
South China Sea, east of Vietnam.

from Zanzibar Sultan for the ten mile strip on
eastern Africa 1891- The German government bought
out Zanzibars lease over the eastern coastal
strip 1896- construction began on a new railway g
oing northeastward from Tanga to Moshi
1905- the outbreak of the Maji Maji was rising,
and it spread over considerable portions of
southeastern Tanganyika, and it lasted for two
years 1912- the railway from Tanga to Moshi was c
ompleted. It helped the coffee growing
plantations, and the African rubber tree tapping

Effects that colonialism and imperialism had on
Germany and Namibia were that the economy grew
and the country gained money and power. Trade was
also an effect, when the ivory was sold. This
happened because they got the ivory cheap, and
sold it for much more money, therefore creating a
large profit margin. Germany also got other
countries involved when the railroad was built,
making trade easier and faster.This also brought
in other products as well, such as rubber and
coffee.

Namibias people were treated terribly and
unfairly. Because of racist attitudes towards the
Africans, Germans personally punished them for
things such as debt. The Germans created the laws
and the Africans could not have a say in the
laws. The African people lost their culture,
pride, and freedom.

The two main tribes of Africa were Mambo and the
Hereros (Samuel Herero wes the chief of the
Herero). The two tribes joined the Namas (their
rivals) and fought the Germans in a war of 1904.
They had to fight, because they had lost land and
their freedom and they believed united as tribes
together, they could fight back.
