diploma - Sophomores are scheduled to take the CAHSEE exam
on March 17th 18th - Math and English Language Arts
- Students need to take the exam seriously
6Class Credits
- Each class is worth 5 credits per semester
- Summer school is mandatory if an F is earned in
a required class - Students must stay in their class the entire year
- Dropping a class results in a Drop F after
6-week progress report

- How to calculate GPA?
- Convert each letter grade to a numeric value
- A 4 B 3 C 2 D 1 F 0
- List all of your grades and replace the letter
grade with the numeric value, add them up and
divide by the number of classes
8Grade Check and Progress Reports
- Weekly Grade Check Cards are located in the
Student Services Center - Cards must be filled out during tutorials
Thursday Friday - Progress Reports are mailed home every six weeks
- Sports eligibility (minimum 2.0 GPA)

P.M. Tutors available to help with homework or
it can be a place to study
11Attendance
- Parents must call the office to clear absences
(notes are accepted) - 24-hour absence line 558-3068
- Unexcused absences will affect grades
- All absences must be cleared within 3 days
- Students must meet with their teachers during
tutorial for missed work
