Why Use PowerPoint?

• Capture your presentationmajor concepts,
  organization, charts, graphs and more all in one
  place!
• Share your presentation with others on the Web or
  in easy PowerPoint handouts.

Content vs. design

• Write your presentation in outline view.
• Play with graphics, colors and fonts in slide
  view.

Font and color

• Two or three fonts are plenty.
• Pick three or four colors that look nice
  together.
• Use high contrast colors for background and text.
• Dont forget about red/green color-blindness.

ClipArt déjà vu

• Be a ClipArt minimalist.
• Your audience has seen them all.
• Be creative make your own!

Practice makes perfect!

• Practice where you preach so you can fix problems
  before you present.
• Rehearse your timings.
