8Example One The Instructional Slideshow
- Creating a Sequence of Images
- Open a graphics application (Ive used the free
image editor application Graphic Converter) - Create and/or download and save a series of
images in a folder - Images must be the same size (ex. 400x320)
- Save them as 01.gif, 02.gif, 03.gif, etc.
9Saving The Files
- This image shows the save as dialog box and the
destination folder with the sequence of .gif
files. - All of these files have been uploaded onto my
EDTECH folder for viewing.
10Assembling The Files
- Open a new QuickTime player.
- Under the File menu, choose Open Image
Sequence - Open the first file in the sequence
- Select a seconds per frame (how long each image
will be displayed). - QuickTime will assemble the files into one movie
file. - Save as filename.mov

- Your result should be a QuickTime movie that can
be used as an instructional tool. Your movie can
be played independently, put onto a web page, or
broadcast across a school intranet or the public
