Optical couplers
Optical Couplers
The FOD 5202, 5203A/B Couplers are designed for
use as splitters, combiners and taps in test
equipment and optical communication
systems. Packaged into the 3 mm metal tube (or
900 mm buffer version) or metal case showed on
picture. Optically returnable devices, i.e.
feeding signals to the outputs these devices can
work as optical mixers. FOD 5301 Multiplexor is
designed to have a split ratio of 100 at 1,31
mm and 0 at 1,55 mm wavelength in one channel
and 100 1,55 mm and 0 1,31 mm in the other
channel. Combining or splitting the two
wavelengths onto one fiber with isolation 16 dB
and excess loss 0,5 dB.
