  each equipment closet in the UC center. Each of 6
  Closets in the UC Center/Bookstore has Category 5
  UTP wire extending to one or more floors.
• Note These calculations do not include wire or
  jacks for a separate voice wire.

Switches, Hubs Modules

• Each closet contains a combination of switches
  and hubs to provide enough ports for each
  connected host. Each switch has a fiber uplink
  running to the router and the hubs are linked to
  switches with category 5 wire. Switches with 2
  fiber uplinks(closets 1, 3, 6) are intended for
  high-speed access to servers or a wireless
  network.
