2The future excellence of the College of
Agricultural Sciences is being determined today
in the decisions that we make about where
resources are invested and the directions we take
in our research, resident education, and outreach
programs. A concerted and focused effort to
identify future areas of excellence is essential.
We currently are undertaking such an effort. The
goals are to identify Areas of opportunities
for excellence over the next 10 to 15 years How
we need to adapt or modify what we do to sustain
or build these areas of excellence Comments made
