What is De-Fragmenting?

• What exactly does it do?
• What De-fragment does is it compress your files
  so the hard drive has more space to run on,
  making it faster.

• On the bottom left hand part of the screen is the
  start button click on it.

• A new menu will pop up,
• Find the menu,
• PROGRAMS,
• click on it.

• another menu will appear
• Find ACCSESORIES.
• Click on it.

• Once you do, a new menu will pop up
• Find system tools
• Click on it.

• On this menu,
• you need to find
• Disk Defragmenter
• Click it.

• A window labeleddisk defragmenter will pop up,
  Two buttons will be on the bottom
• ANALIZE and DEFRAGMENT

• Click on ANALIZE.
• A new window will pop up.
• The options are VIEW REPORT, DEFRAGMET and CLOSE.

• Click on DEFRAGMENT
• Two white and color bars will fill in the gray
  bars.
• The bar on top will be current and the bar on the
  bottom will show you end results.
