Panellists

• ROD ORAM has 30 years experience as a financial
  journalist and has worked in Europe and North
  America for a range of publications. His FT
  career spanned 18 years as an editor and writer
  (in London and New York). Rod and his family
  emigrated from the UK to New Zealand in 1997. He
  is currently a columnist for the Sunday
  Star-Times a regular broadcaster on radio and
  television and a frequent public speaker. Rod is
  an adjunct professor in the Business School at
  Unitec.
• DR DAVID SKILLING is founding CEO of the New
  Zealand Institute, a think-tank established to
  contribute to the public debate on New Zealand
  issues. He was previously a principal adviser at
  Treasury. He has a BCom in Accounting Finance
  as well as a MCom(Hons) in Economics from
  Auckland University and a PhD in Public Policy
  from Harvard University where he also served as
  a teaching Fellow. David has also worked at the
  OECD in Paris, at McKinsey Company and
  Deloitte. He has recently being appointed to the
  Advisory Board of Auckland University Business
  School
