Step 1 Start the X-emulator ExceedStep 2
Right-click on the Exceed button in the task-bar
(below)Click Tools -gt Client Startup -gt
newStep 3 a window pops up (Xstart Client
Startup Application)Click Help -gt Wizard
...Step 4 (we now fill in the form using the
wizard)Click nextType in host field
kameleon.ics.ele.tue.nlSelect in host type
HPClick nextEnsure that Xterm is slected as
applicationThe parameters should be -display
_at_d(you can use more fancy parameters here to
start up the window. I use _at_(XTerm,
methodstdappdb) -ls -sb -sl 1000 -rv -name
kameleon -display _at_dClick nextFill in your
user name and passoword(you can fill in this
stuff to your likings)Check the box 'Create a
shortcut.....')Click nextyour're done,Click
cancel

Step 5 (A window has popped up with
shortcuts)Drag the shortcut 'Xterm
(kameleon.ics.ele.tue.nl) to your desktopStep
6 and beyondDouble click on your new icon. A
window should appearthat is a xterm on
kameleon.Step 2 - 6 are only needed once. Next
time you start Exceed and double click the icon.
