RIDERZ Riderz is a community-based non-profit
organization (subject to French law 1901)
specialized in extreme sports (such as
longboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding,
surfing, rollerblading, etc).The association's
objective is to live up to the expectations of
our community of riders. This implies conceiving
and organizing events.Last years huge success
of the Paris Slalom World Cup has encouraged
Riderz and its members to pursue their work in
this direction.Most importantly, it has
institutionalized the event it is now recognized
as one of the main competitions in the world for
both slalom skateboarding and slalom
rollerblading.
3
Heightening the authorities opinion Via its
counselling and events organizing role, Riderz
actively encourages the authorities awareness of
the increasing importance of the different
disciplines in skateboarding and
rollerblading. The association wishes the
authorities to be more involved in the creation
of secure areas exclusively dedicated to extreme
sports (particularly roller parks, closed roads
for downhill races). Communicating with the
media and the public The media coverage is
equally important to explain our precautions
policy (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads), whilst
showing the fabulous popularity of extreme
sports. To do this, Riderz relies on a community
of passionate people who have been working
voluntarily for already five years. Riderz also
partners up with many associations to organize
competitions in France, and to establish a better
communication with a large public. To pursue this
objective, this year will bring two new
things - Associative village We wish to
gather all the associations in a  associative
village  so that they can inform everyone of
their own events and get a chance to become more
popular. - Handisport It is really important to
us to show and prove that physically disabled
people also practise these sports. We hope to see
the creation of a large community and federate
everybody.

Riderz.net forum An international platform for
extreme sports Created in 2002, Riderz.net is
THE internet meeting point. This forum is the
most popular extreme sports website with more
than 3 800 members and therefore benefits from
the best visibility with more than 300.000 pages
visited each month. Being so dynamic, Riderz.net
appeals to foreign riders who frequently connect
to the website. Americans, Russians, Swedish,
Italians, British, Swiss and Germans, all bring a
cultural enrichment and an open-minded spirit to
Riderz.net. A thinking and meeting place This
forum enables riders to inform themselves and
thus helps organize meetings and training
sessions. Efficient and powerful, it offers the
opportunity to build a real community. It allows
riders to stay up to date with competitions,
participate in discussions about regulations, and
finally, inform about the events agenda.

A mythical place in the heart of Paris
The  place du Trocadéro  was built in
1867.  Le Palais de Chaillot  around the square
was built in 1937. It is composed of two
curving wings which join the river  La Seine .
In between those two wings, the  esplanade des
Droits de l'homme  offers a gorgeous view of
la Tour Eiffel  and  le Champ de Mars .
This  esplanade  is known for its beautiful
setting and has been the mythical spot of all
slalomers in Paris for 20 years.
