Talk To Me

• Recently weve been learning about all the ways
  we can check for understanding.
• Who can remember what some of those things were?
  Lets brainstorm!

What should I do to make sure they understand?

• Look for facial expressions and body language
  that could indicate a lack of understanding or
  interest.
• Allow the listener time to ask questions.
• Ask the person youre talking to if they
  understand what youre talking about.

Activity

• Form a circle
• The teacher will give one person a message. This
  message is to be passed on around the circle.
• The last person is to repeat the message out
  loud.
• You can only pass the message on when you fully
  understand it.
• If you do not understand the message you may ask
  the person to repeat it but you can only use
  facial expressions.
