Culture Sometimes to better understand someone
elses culture we have to hear their stories.

• Conducted 8 interviews
• Collected a total of 10 hours od audio
• Collected over 3 hours of found sounds
• Generated 2 story-paths
• Created a website
• Designed a feature-rich iPhone app that works on
  all iPhone and iPod touch devices
• Posted free code on Github

Next Steps

• Become an open source app with an easy
  non-technical front-end for community
  organizations
• Work with WAMU to make it useable for their
  audience
• Work with the College Park Community Outreach
  Center to integrate APPROACH into the life
  history work being done in Lakeland
• Been approached by a large museum in the Midwest
  to see if and how our app can be integrated with
  their interactive projects. The Wooly Mammoth
  theater in Washington D.C. has also shown serious
  interest in using APPROACH to create a lobby
  experience for their new show Detroit
