• Congruence
• The consistency of a given message with previous
  messages and a leaders actions.
• Congruence leads followers to trust the
  leaders message
• A perceived incongruence implies a level of
  dishonesty or sarcasm in the message.
• Leaders should avoid sharing transitory feelings
