Supplemental Figure 1. Generation and analysis of
Arabidopsis DannAt1 plants
(A) Schematic representation of T-DNA insertions
in AnnAt1 gene. The genomic DNA from these lines
was assayed by PCR (gPCR) with a gene specific
primer and a T-DNA specific primer to confirm
location of the insertion and determine which
plants were homozygous for the T-DNA
insertion. (B) RT-PCR analysis of Col-0 and T1
transgenic DannAt1 plants (lines 1 and 2) for the
expression of AnnAt1 mRNA. APT1 primers were used
as an internal control of mRNA quality.
Expression analyses were carried out three times
with independent RNA samples. (C) Western blot
analysis showing the lack of AnnAt1 protein in
DannAt1-1 and DannAt1-2 Arabidopsis.
