Responsibility

• Please do not deliver forgotten lunches, money,
  homework, etc.
• Do not bring your child back to school to get
  homework or books that they forgot to pack!
  This is now a school policy
• I do not sign planners - it is the students
  responsibility to write their assignments down
  and get them completed!

Organization

• Fifth graders need to organize their time and get
  their homework completed!
• Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday
• Spelling tests are on Fridays

Important information

• Birthdays - treats need to be sent in to the main
  office by 1200 p.m.
• We go outside for recess everyday unless it is
  pouring or a blizzard!
• Appointments - please try to make them for after
  school. We have a very tight schedule and we
  learn until 330 p.m. everyday!
• Visitors - you must sign in before proceeding
  throughout the school.

More Important Information

• Please send in checks, made payable to Scholastic
  Books, for all book orders.
• We use progress reports in fifth grade!
• Weekly packets are sent home every Friday.
• D.A.R.E. begins after the new year
• Please call the sick line if your child is
  going to be out sick
