Homework
  • Each student has a Homework Folder - should be
    taken home and returned to school daily
  • If a homework assignment is confusing or unclear,
    please write a note to your childs teacher
  • Homework will be checked (not graded) and
    returned in Homework Folder
  • Students will receive a spelling list every
    Friday for the following week

  • Initialed by teacher daily
  • Signed by parent/guardian nightly
  • Use for frequent communication between school and
    home
  • Useful information listed at the front

Grading
  • Students receive numerical grades in 3rd grade
  • Grades will be taken on projects, daily
    classwork, quizzes, and tests
  • Homework will not be graded, only checked and
    returned.
  • Grades are not weighted

  • Sent home every 9 weeks
  • Please sign and return report card cover
  • Will receive E, S, N, or U in Handwriting, Study
    Skills, Citizenship, and Specials
