Title: The Battle for Truth
1The Battle for Truth
2 God is Truth
3For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the
powers, against the world forces of darkness,
against spiritual forces of wickedness in the
heavenly places. Therefore take up the full
armor of God, that you may be able to resist in
the evil day, and having done everything to stand
firm. Stand firm therefore having girded your
loins with truth.
4 . . . I write so that you may know how one
ought to conduct himself in the household of God
which is the church of the living God, the pillar
and ground of the truth 1 Tim 315
5 John 1833-38a
6 God and Christ are one.

know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ

kind of reception we had with you, how you turned
to God from idols to serve the true and living
God. - John 1717 Sanctify them in the truth, thy word
is truth. - Ps. 315 Thou hast ransomed me O Lord God of
Truth.
9- Isaiah 6516 He who is blessed in the earth
shall be blessed by the God of Truth - Jn. 333 He who has received His witness has set
His seal to this, that God is True.
10What does it mean to say that God is true? It
means that His being conforms exactly to the
highest possible ideal of what God ought to be.
11According to Dr. Charles Ryrie, To say that God
is true is to say in the most comprehensive
sense, that he is consistent with himself, that
he is all that he should be, and that he has
revealed himself as he really is, and that he and
his revelation are completely reliable.
