• Explosives, Peroxidizable Compounds, and
  Flammable Compounds
• No flames or sparking materials/equipment
  present.
• Should never be heated or handled near hot
  surfaces.
• Should not be used on vibrating surfaces.
• If harmful vapors are emitted, the chemical must
  be used in a fume hood.
• Safety glasses and laboratory coats should be
  worn at all times.

• Peroxides and Oxidizers
• Must be kept away from organic materials.
• Keep away from ignition sources including
  friction and grinding.
• Store in a well-ventilated area.
• Air Reactive Compounds
• Must be handled in inert gases containing no
  oxygen.
• Can be safely dispensed using a syringe or
  double-tipped needle.
• Do not store near any flammable chemicals.

• Must be kept away from water.

• Must be kept in low temperatures.

• Corrosive Materials
• Always pour more concentrated solution into less
  concentrated solution while stirring to prevent
  violent reactions.
• If it emits harmful vapors, it must be used in a
  fume hood.
• Never heat or handle chemical in fragile
  containers.
• Always wear a laboratory coat, gloves, and
  safety glasses.

• Corrosive Materials (storage)
• Store below eye level in corrosive resistant
  trays.
• Keep away from incompatible substances (e.g.
  store acids and bases separately)
