  • Once completed, all goals and objectives from the
    WVU Healthcare Strategic Plan will be
    incorporated into of the HSC Strategic Plan.
  • As each professional school and program
    constructs their strategic plan, the goals and
    objectives that focus on patient-centered care
    and health improvement from their efforts will be
    incorporated into the overall HSC Strategic Plan.

  • Each year HSC will develop an operational plan
    and corresponding financial plan in which
    specific action items/projects will be identified
    in support of the strategic plan.
  • These specific action items/projects will
    collectively move us toward achieving the goals
    stated in our strategic plan.

  • Develop quarterly Chancellors Colloquium for
    Leaders in Health Science that brings in

  • Consolidate efforts in research core development
    and maintenance recruit Director
  • Depending on results of the CTSA application
    implement select programs as outlined in
    application
  • In partnership with the WVU Research Corp,
    develop a seminar series on commercialization of
    intellectual property
  • Implement a formal HSC recognition program
