What is "whole food"?

• Whole foods are unprocessed and unrefined foods.
   Usually they do not contain added ingredients
  such as sugar, salt or fats.  
• Examples of whole foods
• Unpolished grains
• Beans
• Fruits and vegetables
• Whole food is not the same as organic food.

What is an ANDI score?

• Aggregate Nutrient Density Index
• A score given to whole foods that contain the
  most nutrients per calorie.
• It is argued that a nutrient dense diet can
  prevent or even reverse diseases and might also
  reverse obesity.

  and 93 of soybeans grown in the United States is
  genetically modified.  In fact, according to
  Californias Department of Food and Agriculture,
  70 of processed foods in American supermarkets
  now contain genetically engineered (GE)
  ingredients.
