  • Since there is not a single MME ELA, mathematics
    or science assessment a student with and IEP will
    take either MME or MI-Access.

  • Q If I have a student who has taken MI-Access FI
    ELA and mathematics, but took MEAP science and
    social studies, how will the student now be
    assessed in science and social studies?

  • A First of all, if a student can take MEAP
    science and social studies, the student should
    not be taking MI-Access. However, for student who
    do take MI-Access, the IEP Team must determine
    how the student will be assessed in science and
    social studies until MI-Access assessments in
    these content areas are developed.
